Classic yacht Lively Lady has been relaunched after a lick of paint and some maintenance. With a new crew, she's going to be heading to her new home in Chatham Marina in August, so keep a look out for her and give us a wave.
We shall be taking her upto St Katherines Classic Boat Festival 9-11 September to show off the paint job.

We left Portsmouth very early Sunday and had a brisk sail down to Brighton. Have now got to Eastbourne (Monday). Amazing the number of people who stop and chat about her, it's great to hear all your stories.
There is a GoFundMe page to help with the costs, please help where you can.
We intend to arrive in Chatham Thursday late afternoon/evening should you wish to greet us.

Thanks,
Tim.

After a roller coaster run from Eastbourne to Dover we have moved on to Ramsgate today (Wednesday). Light winds and blue skies make for a pleasant day.
In the chandlers we bought a new ensign and some sail tape after yesterday’s strong wind.
Tomorrow’s passage is a good 10 hour and we should get to Chatham around 6-7pm.

Lively Lady.. oh that brings back some memories. I was sixteen when Sir Alec Rose completed his navigation. I was absolutely fascinated, I think more so because Alec was more or less an ordinary bloke you could imagine having a chat with, more so than Sir Francis Chichester who'd completed his circumnavigation earlier. I can tell you though.. both those men definitely sparked something in me.. sea fever.. that I'm still suffering with today.. :)(y)
