Anyone give me a clue how much it can cost to moor near Kingston, something like a 60ft barge, to live aboard. Broad beam not narrowboat. Daughter is thinking about it, she works in Kingston. Would it be better/cheaper to commute? Ta.

As I understand it, the Environment Agency licence certain moorings as 'liveaboard' and they are fairly few and far between.

Your best bet is probably to get in touch with the EA at Reading and ask them for a list of liveaboard mooring sites or operators.

You will also find liveaboards up for sale through various brokers -try googling "liveaboard moorings Kingston" as a starter.
