liveaboard marinas in france

Could any one recommend a marina in France, the Mediterranean side to winterise at a good price? Languedoc-Roussillon or the North of Spain, Roses region although I have heard its a bit pricey in that area.

France is a big place, you don't say where your preferences lie.

Camaret, Brest or Audierne in Brittany are safe and moderately reasonable, further south Lorient, Pornichet or Le Sables.

Maybe you are thinking of North France, Le Havre or Calais.

The list is endless, South of France ?

I spent a winter in Marans - up the Sevre Niortaise - in 2001, for the equivalent of £20/month. That included water and a 5amp electric connection, with an alongside berth in fresh water.
The fresh water froze in January and I was using a lot more than my 5amp connection for heating.
A most amusing and pleasant little town with extremely friendly locals and a number of liveaboards (though only 1 Brit).

Don't quiet know where we are going yet, where the wind and "AA book of europe" take us. We are in Treguier, Brittany at the moment but will be moving on westwards tomorrow. Hope to be around Breast in the next couple weeks and then south. The beers are in the fridge and our current whereabouts is usually updated on our blog (web page link below)
