Liveaboard Insurance

Hi there,
Does anyone know of an Insurer who does live-aboard insurance for UK? Can't find cover for personal effects.
To give you an idea, cover for channel and Northern Europe, plus £35K for boat and £15K for contents.

We lived aboard our boat for most of each year and got personal effects cover included in the policy from Pantaenius in Plymouth. You get an agreed no-quibble price for the Hull insurance, outboard/dinghy cover, as well as personal effects, public liability for £2M, as well as upto £500 for emergency hotel accomodation.

HOWEVER you need to get them to spell out just what you'll get and what they expect from you in the event of a major claim: I speak from very recent personal experience and have had to appoint a surveyor to do a report, get estimates etc. as my exspenses for staying in BARCELONA to do all this isn'tcovered.

They are not the cheapest and in a strightforward claim are very prompt in paying out.

PS think I'm going to have to head to sunnier climes in this cold weather, blimey getting out of the bunk this morning was a struggle!
