I've been doing some reading on this -- not sure if anyone has seen this video yet for SonarCharts Live:

It looks like the with the 'live' option, your transponder is just saving to your card and updating your chart data in real time. I haven't tried it yet, but I imagine you would input the transponder depth to in order to account for a true depth.
