We are selling DAWN BIRD - our Coaster 33 centre-wheelhouse long-keel ketch. Over the past 10 years, we have lived comfortably aboard for 6 & 7 months in a year and cruised gently round the Baltic to St Petersburg, down the Atlantic coasts of France, Spain and Portugal, round the Western Med and the Adriatic and more recently around Ireland and West Scotland.
She has kept us safe and dry and warm in cold climes and cool in hot ones. Her 4 foot draft makes her good for the Continental Canals. She sails well and the sails can be reefed from the safety of the wheelhouse. The 42 hp engine - a Merc OM 636 - is rugged and is good for spares and service most places.
With 6 good-sized berths, and full standing headroom throughout, we and our family and friends have had great fun and enjoyed wonderful things and places...
