I need to leave my boat in Littlehampton 29th June to 11th July as part of our 'Go West' summer retirement cruise. Doe anyone have a mooring we can borrow/rent or suggestions for a cheap berth?

Boat is a 33ft Countess twin keel, and we won't be coming and going, so any snug little hole will do.

Try the Arun Yacht club,they have asmall drying marina for club boats,other tan that further up river is a boatyard with some moorings.

I'm guessing its the former David Hillyard Yard, next door to Arun Canvas and Rigging.

Thats it ,in any case there is tempory mooring alongside at the harbourmasters on the town side going in.

I spoke to the harbourmaster today. He was very helpful and is sure he can find me a berth. He quoted me £180, though!

I only want a berth to leave it on, not hot and cold running women!
