Just caught the end of C4 news, always very proud to see lots of local little ships that have made it across, Gentle Layde, Bluebird of Chelsea, Brown Owl (I think thats the name) and of course a very shiny Lady Gay..

The sailing barge "Greta" was also there with a BBC crew on board.Think a few barges were involved at Dunkirk due to shallow draught.
Some nice pictures of the barge on our regional TV,the logo of our local brewery*,a bishops crook on the topsail .

Could have been Mike Oram who runs Dover Sea School and has 3 of them ! Frequently used to escort channel swimmers I believe ?
