Barry - I think you would know it if you actually put the boat in gear at 1300rpm. Ther would be an almighty thump.

Thanks Arthur - as I said it didn't sound like it was running fast and engaged as smoothly. Turns out to be a suspected lecky fault.

Through difficulties to the bar (IMHO / FWIW / NWGOI)
