am looking for some form of 'liquid' rubber or mastic/sealent that can be poured or troweled and used in large quantities(couple of gallons) to be used for sealing the top of the bilge area in a steel boat but which could with relative ease be removed at a later date for access....any ideas please????

I have used a two component liquid rubber to support the mast in the mast collar.
It should be suitable for other uses like filling bilges etc. This particular product is also easy to remove and its elasticity can be adapted to the intended use by varying the proportions of the components. If interested I can find out the technical carachteristics of the product .

Hello Nuno
Many thanks for your reply.....and yes I am very interested . The product you describe sounds just what I had envisaged. I would be very grateful if you could supply me with more information and if possible a trade name for the product, and where or how I might be able to obtain it...

Many thanks
Ian P.
