Just popped back to see if anyone was talking about boats (ducks!) /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

any suggestions on lining material for the cabin? The circa 1960 Ya Baby! shagpile lining is giving up the ghost and need to be replaced this time out. My first thought was for some carpet offcuts but will that cause loads of static?

as ever any suggestions gratefully and humbly received

Regards

If you are after serious advice, there have been several threads on the subject.

Don't think static should be that much of a problem in a damp marine environment, it's dry air in air conditioned offices with nylon carpet that normally cause the problems.

Thanks for that, I was thinking of bringing it a bit up to date - maybe the eighties, I'll have a search for other threads for ideas.
