Lincoln to Whitby

Well the passage is planned, the waypoints inputted into the plotter, the boat almost ready and the plan seemingly coming together. Now all we need is some local knowledge.

Is there anything on the stretch between Grimsby and Whitby that we need to pay particular attention too. Anything that we may have missed.

This will be our first time heading up the Yorkshire coast. All of our previous coastal trips have been on the Norfolk coast between Boston and Lowestoft, so any advice will be welcome.

You can't be too far out from Flamborough Head, if it's a bit rough a mile is nowhere near enough.

The route we have plotted takes us about 1.5miles off Flamborough. If it still looks a bit rough we can always head further out.

Thanks for the heads up on the pots. Had a mare dodging them all off Cromer last year
