It cruises at about 30knts - 2500 RPM. I have had her to 45knts - 3300 RPM with some throttle left. Fuel at cruise is 45-50 litres/hour.
I have got the Bravo 1 legs fitted. Did have Bravo 3's but she was a complete animal, and difficult to manouver at close quarters because of the sheer power (SWMBO was nearly thrown over the Bow rail when I engaged reverse gear), but did get 55MPH on the log during sea trial.

Is the doral a decent boat aswell, i have looked at smaller ones but not your sort of size.
Do you live easily with it?

We had the 250 last year as a first "sea going" boat, and found it to be very well bolted together, friendly to new users, and very well spec'd. We managed to take-off a few times but the boat never complained (not like SWMBO). 3 of us spent 10 days on her last year and managed to cross Lyme Bay with a F5/6 on the nose all the way across. Most people who have seen the Doral range comment on the amount of space, and quality of finish, and all agree that it looks and feels like the next size up compared to other makes. They are also good value for a "prestige brand" as they are priced in Canadian Dollars, and in 2003 they were slightly cheaper than 2002 due to exchange rate changes.
As with all boats they "shrink" by a foot each year you have them, and the offer we received for the 280 was not to be ignored. This is a completely different boat dispite its modest increase in size, and is a pleasure to helm.
We are now looking towards the 330 or 360 for next year, and ours should be the Showboat at London in January (This will be our last boat for many years to come - hopefully)
