Limbo\'s little cruise
Hi all, we're now back from our mini cruise, having visited Ostend, Niewpoort, Dunkirk, Ramsgate, Brighlingsea. Had a pretty relaxing time, tho' the weather could have been kinder. Still, why should I get good weather when you lot have all had it pretty rough. Did an engine service when I got back to Levington and discovered one of the engine mount had sheared through completely. I guess I was lucky the others held well! End of sailing season for me tho', as I'm having Limbo lifted next week so I can check the shafts, bearings etc, and replace the mount bracket. Judging by Duncans and Neils problems I got off lightly!
Congrats to Bernie for her escapades at Burnham, and also to moondancer.
Robert seemed to appreciate his bacon

You will all no doubt be pleased to hear that I managed not to go aground, or even run out of fuel /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif, though the spring tides pushed us from Ramsgate to Brighlingsea so fast that there was no water over the bar to get in!
