They may not be manned any longer but Trinity house still has to maintain ‘automated’ lighthouses

Very interesting. It looks as if lighthouse bulbs have changed a bit since I visited La Corbiere in 2005. Looking back on it, I think I have visited six lighthouses, and always found them fascinating. Not Wolf Rock, obviously.

Thanks for this, we saw a lot of activity at Longships on the way down last year and it’s clear from his latest video that we were seeing them fill the water tanks. Incredible effort to watch
