I need to source some of the male half of these to attach my sprayhood. I see there are self-tapping versions, and base plate versions held by two screws. Any recommendations? They'll go straight into the GRP coach roof, I'm not sure yet if it's a sandwich construction.

How many of which type do you need ?

Need around 12 I think. Not sure which variety to get though.

I used the type fixed with 2 self tapping screws, you have to be careful to drill the correct size hole to suit the grp thickness or the screw will break before fully home. A dab of sealant helps both with insertion and potential leaks.
You can get two different heights of the 'stud', for single or double height material.
