Hi all,

In a time of meaty contentious world issues, here's one that's a bit more trivial.
My Trader has a lift-out storage bin below one of the hatches over the the forward bilge... It hooks into the groove that the hatch sits on, with a couple of screwed-in handles for lifting it out. Now obviously you wouldn't want to be taking things from it daily since it means lifting the mats up to get to it, but asking a simple question.... What's it for?? Is it just another general storage area and maximising space or do these generally have some kind of specific purpose?

Gracias..

Sounds like a general storage area that lifts out so you can access the bilge. Can’t think it would be anything else but I am not too familiar with Traders.

Gotcha.. I think that's the likely (most simple) answer but I thought I'd ask. 4 years in and there are lots of "I wonder what the point of that is" questions still to answer.
