Liferaft servicing - Solent area

Hi All,

It's that time when I need to get the liferaft serviced.

Has anyone any experience of companies providing this service in the Solent area? I have searched but all the results are over a year old and I would prefer a current recommendation rather than a yellow pages search.
It's a Zodiac 4 man, if that helps.

Mine was serviced by Mayday Marine, 15 Fairway Business Centre, Airport Service Road, Portsmouth, PO3 5NU, Tel: 02392 662990. My 4 man liferaft cost £147 which was good value I think. Something which I didn't know at the time was that they will let you watch while they do it. Would be good to see your liferaft and what's in it before you use it for the first time!

Ocean Safety are well respected and if you go to one of their "open days" you can see your raft opened and inflated. They also did flare demo's when we were there. Wholly recommended.

Mayday Marine did mine also and were happy for me to watch whilst they did it. I declined to wait whilst they did a 24 hour test to ensure it remained inflated

I've used Ron hale before in pompey with no probs.. or you could try ocean safety
