liferaft hard cannister security strap replacement

The stainless lockable security strap is too short for my new raft. The buckes are fine. Anyone know a source of a replacement for the strap please?

If you Google "stainless steel strapping" you'll find loads, but usually you've got to buy 30m or so minimum. Might be cheaper and easier to use webbing.

I don't know exactly what your strap looks like, or how it attaches to the buckles, but this is the sort of thing I'd search eBay for small suppliers of. "Stainless strip" and similar.

Are you looking for a strap to lock the life raft to the boat to stop it being stolen of the strap to lock the 2 halves of the canister together so that the canister straps will come apart when activated.

stolen only please - it will be unlocked before leaving the dock . NOT the automatic opening and deployment.
