Hi,

We are looking to upgrade the battery bank on our sailing boat to Lithium - around 200a to 300a.

Does anyone with them already installed, have any feedback.

Would love to know what brands you are opting for and how they are performing.

Many thanks.

Try also the 'Lithium Batteries on a Boat' Facebook Group. There's a lot of experience there but you will find most - not all - are using DIY builds from imported cells. It looks like you are considering LiFeP04 drop-in batteries rather than cells made up to form a pack but this is not a straightforward solution - nothing is, as yet. This article is worth some careful study ---

Thankyou all. We appreciate the feedback.

Yes Poey we are considering drop in as I am not sure I have confidence in my skills for DIY but I read your thread with interest - we do try to tackle things ourselves where we can.

Yes we are starting to realise it is not straightforward - especially as we have solar panels, wind turbine etc generating power too. We are obviously at the start of a learning curve for ourselves.
Many thanks again.
