Lifejackets & Liferafts servicing cost

Just wondering what would be a fair price to get 20 life jackets serviced

And an 8 and 6 man liferaft?

Standard rate for a life jacket is about £8 or £9 plus parts.
20 should give you some discount so about £150.
Liferaft will be about £150 plus parts.

Note: A bigger factor may be deciding where to take your lifejackets. Some service agents only deal with particular brands.
i.e. Crewsaver will only service Crewsaver lifejackets.
Also, some service centers want a 2 week turn around period. Not good if the lifejackets are needed for the weekends.

I currently have 8 lifejackets being serviced by Baltic in the Hamble.

Where is the boat located? It was cheaper to buy new jackets than have them serviced in Antibes!

My life jackets are 150n manual I have 14 of them standard charge here about 8 euro each plus parts.

Heres the crunch, because the boat is a thrill ride jet boat, the passengers 10 at a time get splashed a lot hence manuals not automatics. However some salt water can find its way in over the season the result being 10 of the 14 gas cylinders showed signs of corrosion and had to be replaced, very expensive

Heres my tip to stop this happening. I have now wrapped each cylinder in cling film to protect then from any sea water ingress so hopefully next year they will be ok
