Life ring lights

lifebuoy lights

We had the old battery/mercury switch type when we bought the new boat, and based on years of experience drying out, applying vaseline to the o rings, replacing the batteries etc. decided to go 'high tech' We bought the AQ180 type which are bright, but when I came to remove them last month for the winter they lit up - in any position, so had to put them back in the brackets.(did not have time to remove the brackets then)
Cost about 4.5p per day (5 year battery life, perhaps).
(Better not say where the boat is.......)

Cheers,

Michael.
