Life raft hire

Does anyone in the parish know of a UK supplier (inc channel islands) who does long term hire on Viking life rafts?

I hire mine off Survitec. Pretty good and they will price match if you ask.

+1 for Norwest Marine , I don't think they were Viking brand thou'. Mind you I've never had to unwrap one and use it! I usually get given a new one when I hire from them which gives an extra bit of re-assurance.

Yes and I'll keep saying it, they could have easily died. I pulled my old Plastimo, the, now defunct, service outfit had packed it wrongly, I had to open the canister to fire it. Just so's you know what can go wrong. Worth making sure as best you can that your chosen provider is up to scratch. Survitec probably is.

CI Is VAT free and modern liferafts, Plastimo at least have 5 years before the first service?
