Lidls' sailing gear

Link please - I cant find it on the Lidl site.

I don't know.

My partner called me yesterday (She went into Lidl to get headache pills) to say these were for sale. It was the Gillingham (Dorset) branch.
I'm no expert on anything clothing, but they do seem good quality, they have a nice fluffy lined reflective hood and other shiny bits stuck here and there.

Just checking the labels.....
We have one which says: Dupont Teflon Fabric Protector
Another: Crivit Sports (Manufacturer perhaps?)
Another: Membralite Tex

And finally ...XL :o, but this because I like stuff baggy And wear fleeces

I bought one of their jackets a couple of years ago as a backup for guests to wear. Didn't even look at it for ages, then, out of curiosity, tried it on. Excellent.
If the current stock is anything like what they had then (and there's no reason to think it's not) then the jackets are excellent value for money.
Highly recommended.

Purchased today:

waterproof sailing jacket £40.00, waterproof trousers £30.00 , those booty things £9.00

Just a heads up incase anyone's interested

Regards

Colin

I've learned that finding stuff on the Lidl website is the most frustrating thing in the world.

I gave up on the web site and called their customer helpline.

Apparently the sailigng gear offer is regional (specific to the Weston-super-mere area) and the nearset store to me stocking sailing gear is on the IOW.

Why Gillingham and the IOW are in the Weston-Super-Mere area is beyond me.

Why the web site doesn't allow me to identify the offer and find the nearest store tha toffers it is beyond me.

sailing gear.

I got several pairs a few years ago for the gang, some leak at the knee pad when I kneel down to tie on mooring. The seat as well.

I bought some sailing gear at the Spalding branch of Lidl a few years back, but it doesn't get this far North. I bought a jacket for SWMBO, but its never been out of the wardrobe. My salopettes have been fine in pretty wet weather and waves over the boat.
