Seriously, I also have one of the cheap sub-£20 USB cameras that plug into a laptop and there's no comparison. The picture quality is much better. I can't imagine that ANY boat has hard to get at/see into places but, if yours does, it may be useful!

You clearly don't have a modernish Jeanneau then - several totally impossible places unless you are a small triple-jointed long-armed chimpanzee or gibbon. Under the shower tray is one, and if you drop a spanner whilst working replacing seacocks it can take half an hour to retrieve it.
