The only thing that interests me at the moment is an upcoming electronics refit. Looking at the list of exhibitors they are a bit light on electronics:
  • B&G - No
  • Furuno -No
  • Garmin - Yes
  • Lowrance - No
  • Raymarine - Yes
  • Seiwa - No
  • Simrad - No
Does anyone know if the missing ones are represented by dealers with displays of actual kit?
It's a long slog by train from the Welsh border where I live so not willing to come on the off chance.

Navionics had a good selection of different brands on display.

I can't believe Volvo stayed away this time.

Not sure how I missed all those classics shown above, they must have been hidden away!
Might go back for another visit later in week.

Thanks for that. Navionics is probably my preferred supplier for charts (I can't wait to get rid of C-Map) so maybe worth a visit just to talk to them. Thursday/Friday probably - may even manage to say Hi to some forumites!

Navionics are really helpful, they have a show offer on until end of Jan for 10% off chart update, my friend I was with said the earliest he could get his chart from the boat to send in would be late March and lady said no problem I will still give you the show offer.

Generally Thursday is the Forumites gathering Michael. It will be good to catch up there.

Hi if anyone is going and find themselves on the Bavaria stand could you ask if they intend to fit either shafts or legs to there Virtess 420

Rail into Paddington, Bakerloo to Baker Street, Jubilee, then DLR to Excel

When I did a couple of shows at Excel I concluded after experiment that Jubilee line to North Greenwich, Emirates Air Line across the river, five minute walk is just as fast and saves lots of faffing around with the DLR.

Alternatively, Thames Clipper from Embankment to North Greenwich is a pleasant if slightly slower substitute for the Jubilee Line.

Crossrail will be there either next year or the year after. Direct from Paddington.

Not much wrong with the DLR. Great to meet up with a bunch of forumites. We did our best to drain Sunny and Fairline. Thanks for the guiness on the YBM stand

there have been very few comments on the show this year is that a sign of low attendance or more enjoyed this year.
