This is not a wind up ( i hope Richard?)

I'm hearing that only a handful of exhibitors have committed to the 2012 show and there is talk of cancellation in the air.

Can't be right surely???

Anyone know better?

(Whilst I am not a fan of excel as a venue I do enjoy the early Jan lift to the boaty spirits)

This rumour reached us at Marine House this morning.

I can categorically state that this is 100% false. The 2012 Tullett Prebon London Boat Show is going ahead as planned with over 300 exhibitors confirmed to date, with many more finalising details of their stands. Plus some fantastic features and attractions lined up.

Won't it feel a bit strange not having your own new toy there......?:D

Or mebbee by then you will have announced the next in the Braveheart/Match dynasty??;);):cool:

Tee hee. Yes it will. Match was exhibited at Cannes 2011 though, so I've had enough boatshowing for a while. Actually I'm visiting the FL factory next week to see the s78 that will be exhibited at LIBS

And yes, maybe I will have sorted out the next boat by then. Nothing to announce currently though!

Wow. Now you have us on the hook!!

What a disappointment. Nothing to see, over priced food, couldn't step foot on a boat in spite of having £700,000 cash in my back pocket ready to hand over, too many non boating exhibitors, or was it too few - I forget, everyone was rude to me, the entrance fee was...........

Oh hang on, I'm a bit early. Someone do me a favour and copy & paste once the threads start up :)

Looking forward to 2012

Henry :)

Good news - the late evening open at LIBS crashing around a few of the hospitality stands and oggling all sorts of lovely boats is the highlight of my January!

You were lucky, we used to dream of not being able to step foot on a boat.

When we went the exhibitors would thrash us w'it whips if we got within 200 years of the venue. And we were grateful fer it!

This morning? are you sure? its been going around since Jan this year....

Bham boat and caravan has been cancelled not LBS as far as I have heard, to be fair the rumours we get INTO the office, not OUT of the office are almost are on a daily basis and are quite amusing...

On a seriousness note its hardly surprising the rumours given the state of some expos and the cancellation of others.

Anyhow we will there, with bells on, by the Guinness stand....we will also have the YM crash test boat with flashing lights and smoke and a large green dragon coming out at the top of the hour...
