Excel is not for me. Too difficult to get to, too expensive, it's in a warehouse in the middle of nowhere and the show is so dull.

But I will start going to LIBS again when it inevitably returns to Earls Court.

we are going on 12th since I only get back from Denmark on Wednesday 10th, and we fly back to the US to the boat the next day.
Need a couple of good lifejackets with all whistles & bells and they are hard to come by in the USA. We will be staying at Gatwick for the night anyway so cost of hotel doesn't come into it really.

I do prefer SIBS, thats our favorite, SWMBO would not come to LIBS, I wouldnt bother if it was'nt for no cost entry.

Intend to use the RYA members lounge and will be checking out the sailmakers for new main and genoa. Not sure whether to drive or use the river shuttle mentioned in earlier post.

[/ QUOTE ] Got to agree! Even though Excel is a lot easier to get to from the Essex coast, it has absolutely no atmosphere. Bring back Earls Court...at least after you had been to the show, half decent food and drink was never too far away.

'll be going with SWMBO and one or two of the kids. New to all of this so lots to see, try on, discuss etc. Probably be a few years before I start to feel that its all old hat!

There are definitely cats from Privilege, Fountaine Pajot, Lagoon and Broadblue. There may be more but the website is possibly the worst in the world - ever - and it is very difficult to find information.
