Thought it might be worthwhile to get a set of spare brushes for my Lewmar winch.
Removed one of the brushes to check size, and noted an ID number stamped on the brush 01M.
Googled the reference number and got a number of hits, and eventually was able to identify the brush set as made by Mahle Letrika with the part number 16.905.677.
Could only find one UK supplier, Vetus, with a gob smacking price of £139.
A German car parts supplier had them listed at £18 for the set, plus £8 for delivery, not a hard decision to make.
Worth the hour googling while holed up in Carrickfergus
