Dear All,
I have a 2006 Lewmar steering system including a steering wheel. The spokes are loose in the wheel hub. The steering wheel still works well. When I dismantled it I found the tiny welds had cracked and the spokes were held by clamping only.
I came across a thread on t'initernet (the Yorkshire Internet) which said this was a common problem on a particular batch but now I cannot find this thread.
Has anyone else had the same problem and have Lewmar sorted it for them?
To be honest I have been thinking of buying a folding steering wheel from them - so any comments on those would also be gratefully recieved.
