Lewmar Portlight seals for Bavaria 40 2002

Does anyone know where I can get new seals for Lewmar portlights. I have tried Lewmar and after three sets of incorrect seals I gave up. I even sent them one of the old seals as a sample but they still got it wrong. You would think a big company like that would have better records of what went into a Bavaria 40 2002.

I haven't placed an order with them so I can't give any feedback good or bad. The delivery policy looked a bit unfriendly, but they do seem to have a huge range of seals.

Can you identify your portlight exactly from their spares website...

The links then lead you into portlight size and then have close up cross sectional pictures of the seals themselves...

Hadlow Marine seem to have a good stock; they provided prompt and efficient service for me a month ago, for my Beany 285. But I imagine a Lewmar portlight is a Lewmar portlight ....

Hallberg Rassy and Bavaria use some non-standard sizes of Lewmar hatches/portlights. Aquafax are UK lemar distibutor, and know the special sizes. Contact at http://www.aquafax.co.uk

Somewhat before my time of handling the Bavaria account, but I believe the 2002 40 took a mixture of "Bavaria Long" and "Bavaria Short" portligths :

"Long Portlight" dimensions (overall) : 188 x 690
"Short Portlight" dimensions (overall) : 178 x 425

There should be a code imprinted into the acrylic which will identify both the portlight and whether it is MK1 or MK2 ...
