Lewmar Ocean & Evo wniches

My boat came with a Lewmar 30ST on the port side of the coach roof and a 16ST on the other, these being the Ocean type. I'm changing from the self-tacking jib to a conventionally sheeted one and need to upgrade the starboard winch to a 30. The Ocean winches are still available and fitting one would match the other side, but are there any practical advantages to the newer Evo type that would justify a miss-match? I know they're easier to fit with studs instead of bolts but are there any advantages in use -anybody used both?

My boat has Ocean ST43 sheet winches and I replaced the non-ST 30 halyard winches with EVO ST30 winches when I bought the boat. I've had both types apart to service/fit them and I really can't say one is better than the other. If it were me in your situation I'd get another Ocean ST just because I'd prefer them to be symmetric, silly I know...

I had one st44 on the port quarter for the spinnaker, and wanted another on Stbd. ST44 no longer made so I bought a pair of EVO 45s and have sold on my ST44.

I will still have three different types of winch, as the winch on the mast (an ST40) has different footprint to the others - otherwise I would have moved the ST44 to the mast
