Eagle Boat Windows did a great job of replacing the perspex in our old Lewmar hatch.

Unfortunately it's started leaking at the aft edge. The leak/seal adhesion breakdown can be seen in the photo below.

I've contacted Eagle for advice, but while I'm waiting, any suggestions for a temporary/permanent fix?

Creep Crack Cure or judiciously applied Sikaflex come to mind.

They recommended duct tape, until they can "put it right" at the end of the season! Sounds hopeful that they won't charge for it. If tha turns out to be the case, I'll be (even more) impressed with them.

Understood ....

Capt Tolleys is not meant to be permanent .. well not supposed to be ! Its solved my boats windows for years ... beginning season - run a bead round .... lasts all year.

Just think Duct Tape looks awful !

Duct tape does look awful but is a universal temporary fix all to stop water ingress.

I have hatches help in place with Duct tape until I can screw then down on foam rubber properly

rather than duck tape, the clear gorilla tape is good stuff. it doesn't delaminate like duck tape does either.
