And everyone seems to be overlooking the ~72 hours that the virus can remain on hard surfaces, although granted, UV is supposed to deplete that somewhat.
It's "up to 72 hours". Where 72 hours is a massive tail event. 24 hours on hard surfaces like steel, much less on wood. And then the viral load doesn't jump down your throat, you have to touch it and transfer it to your face. So wipe down the sodding gate and the trolley handle.

Rather than "I can quote some scary factoids; the country needs to stay locked down" please, can we get to "let's understand and manage the risks with proportional countermeasures, only seeking blanket behavioural bans that are shown to be necessary where the scale of risk dictates".

I can't think how we get crowds of people going to the pub or footy stadium or cramming into the Tube. But pottering around the marina...is fine.
