And not for the first time, a year our so earlier a brand new crane installed but not yet in commission at the North end of Trinity terminal was damaged by a container ship. I can't now remember the exact details as to what happened. I believe that this crane, which had to go back to China for repair, was one of the new ones damaged in the incident at Landguard Terminal.!!

2008 Feb/March, Chinese ship delivering new cranes broke it's mooring hawsers and took out 3 cranes on the quay in 60 mph wind. Spectacular to say the least.
