Promised my wife that she would love the Deben and an idyllic night would be spent on a buoy at Ramsholt. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif But Sunday was grey and Sunday night over 20knots northerly - slamming on the buoy - up in the night in my next to nothings /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif heaving the mooring up to quieten it down. Next day bashing up to Woodbridge - lovely new loos /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Tuesday not enough wind so motored down to get to the bar and back to the Orwell where the sun came out!

Overall brownie point tally for one week about minus 3 /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif don't ask me. Thank God it was sunny back to Bradwell yesterday.

Saw a few of you - Neil drinking tea and steering out of the Deben one handed (flash git), Sirena (never met him) Bernie (I think), saw Tiller Girl and met Ditchcrawler.

Big plus was doing my first solo trip last week to Shotley which went very well and no backchat /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Turned up at Fox's after HM had gone home - blimey what a nightmare trying to find a space in there. Overnight sewer works in nearby road didn't improve the air quality /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

More sun than cloud and no rain - happy chappy /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Jeez, no pleasing some people. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Solo only counts if you had the main up as well as the Genoa.

A fearless Amazon, breastplate glinting in the sun. No mistake.

BTW, T arrived - many thanks. Will deliver to little man next weekend.

I should have should said:

I saw this gorgeous girl helming astutely and assumed it was Bernie /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

or:

Blimey - a woman who knows how to work a tiller /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif not Bernie surely /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Re Fox's. Should have given us a shout as you approached. We are always happy to help incoming and are about quite a bit.
To be fair, it was the regular HMs hols and the deputy was around for most of the week and weekend. However, it's not a 24 hour a day cover.
If you let them know in advance that you are coming, they will normally do their best to find you a slot and let you know where it is.
