Just a great photo of the Windy 760 - in December MBY - completely out of the water except for the prop. and the driver looking like his face was being pulled backwards!

Minor quibble about the article: It said the test boat ran a 250 hp Verado. But one of the other pictures clearly showed the engine labelled as "275".

Agreed, Lester's the man !

Remember doing a photo shoot with him and the dangle angle he gets hanging off rails and flybridges is quite scary, usually flying along at warp factor ten !

PS my avatar is one taken by Lester of me from helo, before anyone shouts copyright, I did pay for it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif and IPC sure know how to charge for pics /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Holy Moley !

I love that 760, so darned pretty and looks so much fun, i'm just trying to find a reason to buy one. It's not just Lester who can get it out the water either ..

edit: oh, it's the same picture as MBY, but the one above was taken from the Windy web site. Maybe explains why the test boat has 250 hp, but the photos have 275, if they've used stock photos?

Lester is indeed the man but on this occasion we chose to use Windy's own photos as we only had a very limited opportunity to take our own photos in less than ideal conditions. Besides I couldn't resist the opportunity to use this superb shot. Unfortunately, I forgot to remove Lester's photo credit. This does of course also explain the mismatch between the engine size quoted in the text and the one shown in the photograph. Apologies for not explaining this in the photo caption.
