I researched all the available options before my trek from Dorset to Scotland to collect an ebay purchased 21 foot keel yacht. The basic AA membership covered any trailer (without any length restrictions) for £49.
3 miles from the club I'd bought her from the damper in the tow hitch went. We found a nice pub (I always say one should choose a good place to brake down!) called the AA, within the hour their 'agent' had arrived. The whole lot was relayed to Dorset, no questions asked.
Worth every penny.

P.S. Took her out yesterday from Poole, not a cloud in the sky, 10mph wind but only 5 deg C. Wonderful!!!
