Anyone know anything about the permitted anchorage at Les Sept Isles?

I believe you can only drop the hook south of Ile bono and east of ile aux moines only in sheltered weather. Only permitted to go on ileaux moines the other islands are a bird sancuary

I passed the anchorage a few years back, but did not anchor there due to lack of time or tide. It seemed to be moderately well sheltered if I can remember rightly. As Aidy says you can land on Ile aux Moines at the pier. The gannet colony on Ile Rouzic is quite spectacular, even if you cannot approach too close. Let us know how you get on if you anchor there.

The permitted anchorage is a lovely place in settled weather.
You need to be aware of a rock or two (or is it a wreck?) on the way in and out (described in the pilots, info not to hand) but easily avoided.
