Hi
I have trim tabs on my boat, in one the motor is not running and in the other the motor is running but the does drive though the gearing.
Does anybody know the electric motor number.
They usually have an ( RS) number to identify the motor.
Thanks

My experience is that they are not worth fixing.
I "just bite the bullet" and buy new ones.
I once suggested an upgrade to Bennett Tabs but they wanted over 6 grand for the upgrade.
So, I just buy new as cheaply as I can - my logic was I could buy lots of spare Lenco motors for 6 grand.
14 years later, I've only spent about £1200 and there is a completely new set on at the moment.
So, I like to think that "I'm in pocket" but thats just "man maths"
Mine are in pairs so 4 motors in total.
I find that once a motor goes, the other one can "fight" it ending up completely knackered.
There is a small trick that I play.
Lenco offer an upgrade kit (the other way) - from Bennett to Lenco.
If you buy the kit, you get a pair of motors and some other stuff for about two thirds the cost of buying them individually.
Then just throw away the other stuff in the box.
