Thanks again to all for the advice.
As Jim states we will not be at sea for days on end but we hope to keep her on a swinging mooring this year and thus be away from shore power.
We may have to look at some solar cell charging system.
I think we may try Jim's cheapskate option with a couple of hi-capacity car batteries from a breakers yard.
We have a separate starter battery and also a portable jump start battery.
We can always spend more money later /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
