Lehman engine

Hi, I have a Lehman engine but this could refer to any engine , It has some green gunge round the top hose to header tank connection internal fresh water ,this is some type of corrosion ,how can I stop / clear this ,your advice is needed . Thank you .

Regardless of make of engine this green deposit is a small water leak. Clean it off, maybe put a little silicone grease on the pipe and tighten up the jubilee clip. Job done.
