has anyone any experience on fitting mooring legs to a nimbus 2600 or has anyone got one moored on a drying mooring how do they take the ground

I have contemplated legs on my Nimb 27.
Same underneath as the 26.
What put me off was where to stow them!
What I can tell you is, She will lean at an impossible angle
You and your partner will end up in the same bunk and the kettle won't work!
OK in very soft goo
BRIZA sits in the stuff regularly
The build quality will stand the stress that legs might put on the hull.
There is a Nimbus owners club, they might be someone in said club who has done the job.
Dunno why I,ve not 'joined up' maybe cos all the events are darn sarf

Err well does this help ?

It must be White.
It must have at least 2 floors.
It must have large quantities of shiney navy blue ropes with all splicing done by nice man at chandlery.
All fenders must match and be colour coded with boat decals.
At least 6 items aboard must have been purchased with your boat builders logo in tiny letters on it somewhere.
Engines must be at least 500 hp each
It must be white.

Thank God for that, I dont qualify!, my definition of a 'Gin Palace', is any boat with at least two litres of Plymouth gin readily available, suitable mixers to compliment and angasturas bitters for ex navy types who insist on 'pinkers on the poop'

Back to Legs on a Nimbus
I dont know the Nimbus 2600 is it outdrives or shaft or shafts?
Is the keel line below Props rudders olifted outdrives etc? can the boat if it sat level port to starboard sit on the beach without damaging props, rudders or outdrives if they do not lift clear of the keel line.
Assuming it can sit level. Yacht leg co legs are a good bet, I had these on a Mitchell 31 and a Halmatic 34 and they worked well. They are telescopic so pack up quite small.
On the hull you will need access to the inside of the hull, you will need to fit reinforced patch on the inside say 3/4 ply glassed on the inside. Then you can fit the bracket on the hull and the leg is clipped into the bracket and held fore and aft by two ropes. I have seen it done to many boats and it works well. Dont try an d make your own legs its reinventing the wheel.

The adjustable ones would do the job.
The 2600/27 Nimbus is shaft drive.
But the keel and skeg will protect the prop etc
The prob is the angle of dangle when dried out.

Angle of Dangle
Option one Dry out on beach with a similar angle of dangle nose up the beach to negate said angle, (nose down the beach doubles said dangle).
Option two for sleeping purposes, assuming bow vee berth, under your mattress cut a piece plywood half inch should do to shape and put wooden blocks and wedges under front ( bow end) until level.
Warning , if you are nose down the cockpit may not drain in torrential down pour and may come in back door or flood locker/ engine room whatever is below.
