Well we left the UK bound for the med but enjoyed the Atlantic coast of spain and Portugal so much that we left the boat there. I am now looking for a good safe place to over winter the boat in Portugal any suggestions.

lagos has a good low-season rate and is very protected from any weather. villamoura is also safe but to my mind less attractive as a place to stay.

My neighbours stayed in Nazare, Portugal. Said it was very safe, attractive and easy to get back to the UK from.

I would go with Nazare, safe, fairly easy to get to lisbon, nice little town, and reasonably priced.............keith

Nazare is a lovely town, there was English guy called Mike running the show - not sure if he still there but more than likely.
