After 18 months hard standing in Preveza, Nimbus 2000 will finally touch the water again coming Saturday. The plan is to round the Pelopponesos (anti clock wise seems to be best according to this forum). First hurdle is Lefkas. Any recent experience on the northern entrance? Silting? Dredging? Bridge opening unchanged since 2013? Thanks for any advice.

Worth noting that the dredger never gets its feet wet and its jib is no longer than 15m. Ergo, the dredged channel is less than 15m from the spit.

Which is why you can tuck right up to the spit side of things safely, I've seen 4m of water within 1/2 boat length of the beach. I'd rather touch sand than the rocks and blocks on the south side of the channel! :)

Precisely. Every boat you hear of in trouble there seems to go on the rocky shoal to the south, well away from the spit.
