Just received one of thse in the mail from China. It just seems so good for the price. I love it.
It only shows one decimal place when voltage is above 9.99v but does read up to 30v at one decimal place.
It is very tiny requiring a cut out just 1cm by 2.2cms. It runs on the pwer you are measuring so no concern re batteries or isolation powern supply.
Ideal for the little boat. good luck olewill

Very similar to the two I have recently fitted onto the Grumpster. Its a quick indication as to what my batteries are doing at any given time. Tells me how my solar panel is doing, my alternator, power drain when drifting (fishing, not just drifting!) with all the toys on ect...just the job!

+2 I fitted a couple from Banggood last year. One for each battery. Put little switches in to turn them off too (also from Banggood). Handy to just check the battery voltage whenever I want.

I also made one up with long wires and spade connectors, so I can use it as a roving meter when I want to check the voltage at any particular point. Handier at times than using the multi-meter

I bought two of these (the link is just a random one) for the camper and they've ended up with me on the boat where I've been sailing since Jun 1st.

I have a BEP but this sits in view on a ledge and no buttons to press. It feeds my anal obsession with volts. at 1/60 of the price.

I like having a reading straight off the battery terminals, surprising just how much voltage you can loose along the way when pulling some amps.

I fitted one 2 years ago, mine reads to 2 decimal places.I was first alerted to these by a friend who has three fitted , one to each battery bank.He was a marine commercial electrician. He believes that if you monitor voltage that will tell you most of what you need to know about your battery state. He said that due to changing battery voltages and capacity drop then monitoring amps is not particularly accurate. The chinese ones are certainly cost effective and for the price of some of the monitors one can buy two new batteries.

I have several cig lighter type sockets. These items allow a quick view of the volts available. I now know what I can draw most power from and those at the end of long skinny feeds
