LED replacement for festoon bulb

The boatlamps ones are brighter than the original tungsten bulbs, I replaced all on board now I can light the whole boat up (10 lamps) and use less power than one old tungsten bulb used...it's magic!

Same here. Fabby things. I can put on every light on the boat with no noticeable effect on battery voltage, which is nice.

175 lumen is bright enough when all facing the same way ??????

Certainly much brighter than the 10w festoon they replaced in the cabin deckhead lights. Very pleased with the result

Unlike most others these each have 30 LEDs.

P.S. The cheapest way to buy then from the supplier I quoted is in packs of 50. Delivery is very quick.

Thanks. I have some interior lights that are in fact car interior lights ( BMC 1100 IIRC) but I dont think those 30 led arrays will fit. The 16 LED ones will but I cant find a figure for the light output.

Just a quick update,

Bought these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-Pcs-41...572?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item5d51319d5c

Very quick delivery (about a week from Hong Kong) work out at 47p each and work very well!

Just the right level of brightness, not as warm as the originals but not bad at all, not got a blue tinge at all.
I compared the new LEDs with the originals (one fitting on either side of the cabin) and the brightness is more or less the same.

So I'm a happy chappy, and just dropped my power consumption on 5 lights from 7.5A to just over 1A!
