Not really bright enough for the saloon to my mind, tho - but I like bright for cooking, passage plannning and so on. I prefer halogen lights for that.

I have all LED cabin lights with the exception of one very bright light that covers the galley area and chart table.

Then, why not have a look at Orca Green ?
At US$ 329 it come £ 100 cheaper, and it's US Coast Gard approved.
I have such one installed since 2 years now, and fully satisfyed.

It then took just over a week to get it directly from Orca Green.
Good service,I think.

I have one, very happy. It only has 3 LEDs (one for each segment) which seems to mean 120 degree coverage per LED horizontally or vertically. Good for visibility when healing (or when a big ship is looking down on you....)

Their Home Page says thay no longer ship Internationally. I see the mounting bracket is an additional $25. VAT will add about $60 to the cost price of $329, shipping another $30(?). Reading other posts currently running on Scuttlebutt, some shippers add their own special import charges.

It all makes buying a Lopolight or similar from a local chandler sound much more attractive.
