Just arrived at the boat and replaced a couple of MR16 cabin light bulbs with LEDs I bought this afternoon. Got to say I'm extremely impressed. Previously I had a couple of LEDs I bought from Maplin, which were frugal enough, but like feeble blueish moonlight in comparison.

Specs say: "Livarno", 3W, 15 SMD-LED, Warm White (3000 K), 25 Watt equivalent, 76 Candela, AC/DC 12V, 360mA.

Hurry! Only available while stocks last!

They sound quite good but do not seem to be available in Lidl branches in the Algarve

Yes I was pleased with the ones I got from lidl too. But they didnt suit the fittings recessed into the headlining so I bought some equally impressive and similarly priced suitable ones from ultraleds on line.
Now to tackle the fridge consumption
