No connection etc.... I was given a P7 about 3 years ago. The switch went weird, wouldn't switch off completely. Called them, got an apology and a new switch/battery carrier THE NEXT MORNING. Free of charge. I had no receipt, no warranty..... Something very similar happened recently with a set of Sennheiser headphones. Both are German companies, family owned and who make all their kit in one place in Germany. German manufacturing, blooming good and lots of pride in the product. Well done them

Ditto. Obviously at that price for a torch I was not expecting a problem, but sure enough they were well worth contacting. A nice customer experience :)

Mine went wrong and I phoned lenser to enquire about the cost of a repair. They replied that Torches had only been available in UK for about 2yrs so just send it back and they would repair/replace - don't bother about proof of purchase/receipt.

Good service

Several guys at work have had similar positive experiences with Led lenser. Apparently they had a duff batch of switches and our snap on man who supplied the torches even had a supply of replacements.

I made a torch for someone - lifetime guarantee - they dropped it from 12 feet and it went to half brightness.

I sent them a new torch.

British engineering and customer service - too much greed in many businesses to do the right thing imo

Looked at LED torches for a long spot beam at SIBS - eyewateringly expensive.

Any reasonable ones. I have the Lenser P7 and another larger one but while very bright they don't appear to have the spotlight type range yet.

Costco were doing Feit Electrical LED torches, 750 or 1000 lumens can't remember which, with a zoom focus which throws a pencil beam a tremendous distance. IIRC you got two for £15, I've got one at home and one on the boat. Absolutely phenominal torch. The pencil beam is square, because of the chip, but I don't see that as a problem. I'm not sure what shape the zoomed out beam is, but it's very bright.

Sorry, I just checked Costcos website, and I was wrong about the price, they are £15 each, pack of two for thirty quid. 750 lumens, very bright, push pull zoom.

+1 totally agree, I've got two of these.
